Refund policy

Our refund policy is designed to ensure customer satisfaction. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a refund within a certain timeframe.

Discovery Flights Availability and Pricing

  • All Discovery Flights  are subject to availability.
  • Prices and schedules are subject to change without prior notice.

Safety and Rescheduling Policy

  • Your safety and experience are our priority. If rescheduling is necessary due to adverse weather conditions or mechanical issues, Essence Flight Academy reserves the right to reschedule flights to a later date.
  • Routes may also be adjusted for safety reasons.

Rescheduling Flights

  • Customers may reschedule their flight by notifying us at least 48 hours before their reservation time via email at info@essenceflight.com.
  • A rebooking fee of $50 applies for flights rescheduled within 48 hours of the reservation.

Non-Refundable Purchases

  • Discovery Flight lessons, Dual Flight lessons, Introductory Flights, and gift certificates are non-refundable.
  • If purchased through a third party, please contact the vendor directly for refund inquiries.

No-Show and Late Arrival Policy

  • Flights will be marked as completed and charged in full if the customer does not show up for their scheduled time or arrives more than 30 minutes late.

Gift Certificate Policy

  • Essence Flight Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged gift certificates or vouchers, nor any unauthorized use. Gift certificates will not be replaced under any circumstances.

Passenger Requirements

  • Passengers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Child seats cannot be accommodated due to limited space.
  • U.S. passengers (18 and older) must present a valid U.S. federal or state-issued photo ID. Non-U.S. passengers must present a valid foreign passport.
  • Children under 5 years old are not permitted on flights.
  • Maximum combined passenger weight is 370 lbs. Individual weight for Discovery Flights must not exceed 180 lbs. Weight confirmation may be required upon arrival.
  • Each flight is limited to two passengers.

Right to Refuse Service

  • Essence Flight Academy reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Reasons may include, but are not limited to, intoxication or determination of unfitness for flight. In such cases, the individual will not be allowed to board, and the flight may be charged in full.

Safety Measures

  • Passengers may be subject to a safety search before boarding.
  • All passengers are required to sign a liability release form prior to their flight.

Cancellation Policy

  • Discovery Flights are non-refundable.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled flight or no-shows will be charged the full price.
  • If a reservation is canceled by Essence Flight Academy due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions or aircraft maintenance), we will make every effort to notify you promptly and reschedule.

2. exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, Discovery Flights, and Discovery Flight Gift Certificates

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

3. exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

4. european union 14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

5. refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
